I was born and raised in WA state. When I was in high school, I said I wanted to move to Mexico.  I wasn’t sure why, as I had never been down here before. I had my heart set. In 2011 I vacationed in Baja, and stayed for a month. I didn’t want to leave, I fell in love. 

My mom always let us have horses as it kept us out of trouble, gave us something to do after school, and my love for horses continued to grow as I followed my heart’s desire. 

When I got out of high school I made a goal to move to Mexico before I was 30.  I moved down here in 2012 after selling my landscape business up north. 

I started Desert Trails back in 2013 with 2 horses. I have been following my heart and dreams ever since.

Several years later I met my business partner. Together we have grown the business, and have our son Luke who loves to go riding with us.
